Hi everyone, I am new here and I would like to say this is one Great Site. I love to see other people’s creations because it gives me ideas on how to perfect my guitars. Here’s just a quick synapse of who I am. I started building when I was 14 and now I am 41 with 2 young children and an 18 year old step child in college. My wife is a stay home mom who takes care of the children while I work and work and work. Finding time to build these days is literally impossible. So I am forced to living vicariously through others until I can get back to fulfilling my luthier needs. Don’t get me wrong, I would gladly give up luthier if I were asked to choose it over having a family. I look forward to seeing other people’s creations and hopefully find some new ways to skin a cat. Welcome Rich! Its great to see someone else in the same boat. Its a great boat, don't get me wrong......! I love my family, too. Its having to make a living at something else.....to pay the bills! Vicarious Lutherie....Hum? Too bad my W.A.S. is not as vicarious..... Oh, that is a GOOD thing, right? We are all rich indeed! |
